Refund Policy
Customers having received a report of findings resulting from requested petrographic testing have received a quality service. If an unusual situation arises in which there was a change of conditions or the project was cancelled on the client end, Refunds can be made at the discretion of Prescott Petrographics. Contact John directly at 928-237-9622 in such cases.

Refunds can only be made during business hours and are subject to waiting periods due to bank and merchant processing. Payments are all securely processed and refunded through Stripe.

Return Policy
The deliverable at Prescott Petrographics is reports of test results for petrographic examination of concrete, aggregates, rock, and pozzolans.
When testing is complete the remaining sample materials will be retained at Prescott Petrographics for 6 months before disposal. If clients require samples to be returned this should be specified at the time the order is placed. Payment for shipping will be made by the client using the shipping service tab on our website.
Cancellation Policy
As a service provider, Prescott Petrographics is committed to customer satisfaction. Should a project that has been initiated need to be cancelled the client will contact John at Jfox@prescottpetrographics.com or phone at 928-237-9622. As work is prepaid, a refund will be made through the Stripe payment site. Once reports are complete and issued the project is considered complete
Petrographics Report Delivery Policy
Aligned with the Prescott Petrographics mission statement of providing quality petrographic test results in concise reports with quick response time, customers receive a comprehensive report of findings by e-mail within a week. For larger projects with more involved testing requirements the turnaround time will be longer as clarified by discussion with John by email at Jfox@prescottpetrographics.com or phone at 928-237-9622.
If clients require clarification or modification of a report due to an oversight such as submitting the wrong mix design, the updated report with suffix R will generally be issued at no additional cost. Our goal is to provide technically accurate petrographic test results in a timely manner with a focus on clients.
Work is requested by phone and orders are placed on the Prescott Petrographics website. A submission form is completed on our site that provides details on customer contact, e-mail, the issue that require testing, and any information that is useful in the testing such as mix designs, jobsite photos, quarry locations, and concrete tickets. This information is important for optimal clarity about the scope of the project, expectations of the client, and the e-mail address to send the report to.
